My art features portraiture, organic figures, and elements of nature. The overlying theme of my art is about connection, from human connection to our relationships with our bodies and a connection to and relationship with nature.
I grew up in Central Maine, having moved there with my family at a young age. As of 2025 I have relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota.
During my childhood I discovered my passion for different forms of art. I began attending the University of Maine in 2014 to further explore art and to develop my skills. I graduated summa cum laude with my BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in printmaking along with a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexualities Studies. It was during my undergraduate experience that I became involved in printmaking. I found intaglio copper etching in particular to be the most rewarding practice and one that aligned with how I internally processed art. I met teachers who encouraged me to grow as an artist, leading me to go in the direction of more conceptual art. My journey with this began with using art to explore mental health and how it affects one’s relationship with themself and with others. On another spectrum, my art also explores our relationship with nature. This ranges from the idea of giving back to the lack of kindness that is so often shown to nature.
